Quick Start

1 Overview

The Revmob AdMob adapter allows you to serve ads within your application through the AdMob mediation platform, including Revmob as a 3rd party network.
Our adapter only allows to serve Interstitial and Banner ads. The others ad units offered by our SDK are not supported by mediation services.

Integration

  1. If you don't have AdMob integrated into your project yet, please follow AdMob's Android integration guide.
  2. If using interstitial ads, follow our guide to add the necessary permissions to your Android Manifest.
  3. Download our adapter and unzip it.
  4. In Android Studio, import the adapter as a Module. To do so, go to: File > New > Import Module...
  5. Choose the folder revmobadapter that is inside the android folder of the package (/android/revmobadapter).
  6. Click Finish and add the adapter is added to your project!
  7. Important: Please review revmobadapter's Gradle settings and make the changes necessary to your project (such as minSdkVersion, targetSdkVersion, buildToolsVersion, etc).
  8. You can also manually add the RevMobCustomEvent.java file from "android/revmobadapter/src/main/java/revmob/customevent/". Don't forget to add the appropriate package name when adding RevMob as a AdMob's custom event. Also, add the file revmob.jar to your project.

If you're using interstitial ads, an instance of Activity should be passed to AdMob's InterstitialAd constructor.

Integration

  1. If you don't have AdMob integrated into your project yet, please follow AdMob's iOS integration guide.
  2. Download our SDK and add the framework to your application. For instructions on how to add our framework, please follow our guide.
  3. Download our adapter and unzip it.
  4. Add the classes contained in the .zip to your project
  5. Configure your AdMob account to serve Revmob Ads to your application.

Adding Revmob as a Custom Native Network

  1. Please follow AdMob's guide on creating a custom event.
  2. Use the following parameters:
    For banner ads:
    • Class Name: revmob.customevent.RevMobBannerAdapter
    • Label: Put the label you want to use, e.g. "RevMob Banner" or "RevMob Interstitial".
    • Parameter: Your RevMob Media ID.
    For interstitial ads:
    • Class Name: revmob.customevent.RevMobInterstitialAdapter
    • Label: Put the label you want to use, e.g. "RevMob Banner" or "RevMob Interstitial".
    • Parameter: Your RevMob Media ID.
    For banner ads:
    • Class Name: RevMobBannerAdapter
    • Label: Put the label you want to use, e.g. "RevMob Banner" or "RevMob Interstitial".
    • Parameter: Your RevMob Media ID.
    For interstitial ads:
    • Class Name: RevMobInterstitialAdapter
    • Label: Put the label you want to use, e.g. "RevMob Banner" or "RevMob Interstitial".
    • Parameter: Your RevMob Media ID.
  3. Set your eCPM and/or country-specific settings.
  4. Run your app and you should be able to receive Revmob ads!
